Re: Official press release announcing new Lowell FB coach

Hard to pass up a resume like McKim has had at NP and calling the offense at Valpo. I would have thought Hudak was a lock for that job since he is a “Lowell Guy” after he stepped down at Hammond Central. I don’t understand all of these people pounding the table for Hudak to be the head coach at Lowe...

Re: Crazy games

Wow 61-58 that’s a higher point total score than some high school basketball games around the region

Re: week 4 thoughts

19 unsportsmanlike penalties is an absurd number. What was happening on the field for that many flags to be thrown?

So you’re saying that all city schools around here are run like plantations?

Re: week 1 thoughts

A few things that surprised me from week one. The score of the Griffith and Highland game was shocking to me. I know Highland is an inexperienced team coming back and Griffith returned some key players from last season but I was not expecting a margin of victory as wide of what happened. Wheeler vs ...

Re: 30 days left! Region rankings after watching scrimmages.

I have seen Morton this season. I would say their O line is more of an issue than their D line. The d line this season is better than last years. I seen some of that Morton and Andrean scrimmage as well. Morton’s O line looked like it got lazy compared to the other times I seen them. I watched them ...

Re: WL Over HC in OT

I was shocked to hear that WL came back and won last night. Leading 28-7 at the half and then 35-14 late in the third to end up losing in OT.

Re: Merrillville @ Morton

Morton gave up 65 points -- 62 in the last three quarters -- to Hobart. Merrillville gave up 14 to Hobart. It won't be close. Not sure where the 'the staffs dislike each other' comes from. I'm not sure Morton has ever played Merrillville unless it would be a scrimmage. Staff dislike comes from the ...

Re: Morton at Hobart

No shot, Bricks win this one That's what they said a few years back... Nut That would have at least been nine years ago....and when Roy Richards was there. Morton has had three coaches since then and has lost three games to Hobart since then by average score of 35-19, including a 42-21 loss in the ...

Re: DAC power rankings and predictions

[quote="the dog" post_id=2571 time=1695864884 user_id=220] Merrillville/Valpo and Lake Central/Chesterton seem to be the most interesting games this week. If Davis is out for Valpo, think Merrillville wins. The Merrillville defense is really good -- outside of the CP ga...
