Re: 2025 Top Ten

- Having Valpo over Merrillville is a crime. Merrillville #2 Valpo and Merrillville split the series in 2022 and 2023 before Valpo lost both last season. Lets not act like Merrillville is SO MUCH better of a program than a (much) more recent 5A State Champion. That said, if you wanted to switch my ...

Re: Future Outlook

Crown Point: Upswing. I don't think this needs much explaining. Lol Merrillville: Same swing. They NEED to get over the Semi-State hump in 5A. That is a class MADE for them to win it. Win it, and I'll change to upswing... Valpo: Upswing. They were kind of "down" by their standards last year so I onl...

Re: 2025 Top Ten

Jimbo's WAY Too Early 2025 Region Top 10 1. Crown Point Bulldogs (Someone outside of the Indy Metro area is gonna need to beat them for them to not be #1 around here) 2. Valparaiso Vikings (Very young team this year, mix that with tremendous coaching and a tremendous program and they'll be back wit...

Re: IHSAA Transfer Rule

Absolutely hate this rule, going to be a major advantage for the private schools in the state. I think it will be interesting to see how fast schools will switch to open enrollment. I know I am pushing the Hobart school board to become open enrollment as soon as possible. Aren’t the Bricks only one...

It has also HELPED on 2 fronts from my seat 1. Dean and Barbara White: MANY of the improvements you have seen in CP has been funded by their foundation, both in the schools and youth sports such as the LEGACY FIELDS 2. The current superintendent understands what it takes to compete with the INDY do...

Hobart has a referendum coming up in May.
Lets see how much the Hobart residents support Hobart schools. I'll bet on a YES result for Hobart. They, similar to CP, do still have a little bit of Community pride left in the city.
