Most of teams usually have conference members in their sectionals. And if not, that's where the extra games come in.

And while playing football in high school, which do you think mattered to us more, being the lake 10 blue division champs or being sectional champs?

10 game seasons, drop the scrimmage/jamboree/O'rama Play the other 7 teams in sectional, ranked 1 to 8 in time for playoffs 3 games to play whoever you want, not factored into ranking, sectionals with only 7 have 4 games not factored in Teams in class with 32 teams still have 8 teams, current sectio...

When growing up in Griffith in the 80s, highland was always our biggest rival. By the time I got to high school it became hobart. But I always loved beating highland.
Also nice to see postage win for the first time in nearly 2 years. Not a lot of talk here in town for the last few years

Hanover up to 4a, Boone grove down to 2a.
Bishop noll up to 3a-missed that originally.

Looks like portage might be down to 5a in the next classification

The 2 Hammond schools are probably too big as a 5a enrollment (probably make more sense in the northwest crossroads conference). Maybe East Chicago Central replaces South Central.

Since 1934, Griffith and Lowell have played each other either in the regular season or playoffs. They are not on each other's schedule and are in different classes. The rivalry hasn't been close for a while, but still a little sad.
