Re: Munster Open
There are a lot of good football coaches in the area that are qualified for the job, should they be interested. Munster has a VERY strong community and school "brand". They are also in a great location for coaches that may be from Illinois (for example). These factors could potentially draw a very large applicant pool. Best wishes to all.

Re: Munster Open
It sounds like Munster is facing a complex situation with challenges in securing a new coach. Let's break down the key points:
Kennedy Declining: Kennedy has declined the coaching position, it could be due to various reasons such as personal preferences, existing commitments, or a misalignment of expectations.
Buzz : is unwilling to move, it could be due to personal or logistical reasons.
Hackett's Impact: Hackett is making the situation worse, the internal dynamics and communication issues within the organization might be complicating the coaching search.
AD's Perception: The Athletic Director (AD) having a perception issue, thinking he's at Andrean, might suggest a lack of clarity or miscommunication about the team's vision and goals.
It might be beneficial for Munster to reassess their approach, possibly seek external advice, and create a more appealing and conducive environment for potential coaching candidates.

Intriguing first post.
Anyone that actually thought Buzz would leave to come to Munster needs to have their head examined.
It is like all the IU fans that would think everytime their basketball job came open that Coach K or Roy Williams was going to head to Bloomington

Re: Munster Open
Heard that they have their guy. Not from the area, but coached in the state last season. The next board meeting isn't until February 12, so something more concrete might come out by then.
Neither of those names our board newbie posted were approached for this opening. However, one of those names did apply back in 2018...
