Morton wont go 8-1. Kinsey as acting head coach and AD couldn't fill the Bowman game. They didn't play last year and they wont play them this year. You can not be a serious program and have D1 kids and schedule Bowman 2 years in a row.

Portage came in 8th out of 25 teams in the Region 1 Track meet... doesn't look like the reduction ruined their chances at a Regional Crown!

Love this. yes 8th place. 25 points. 10 of which were by the 3200 kid who won. I'm guessing he runs XC in the fall. 8 by a high jumper who doesn't play football. No Portage athletes in top 8 in 100, 200, 400, 4 x 100. Their 4 x 400 didn't make regional meet.

Oh, so you were coaching last year and not this year? The other thing I'm hearing in Portage is lack of assistant coaches.

No AX to grind, I was told by a sports writer than the Portage track coach isn't happy with Roy. All you guys are saying I am wrong. I love how Jimbo says its not true cause that didn't happen when he was at Morton. Going 0-10 probably changes things.

I’m a coach there now, and I promise you none of that is true. As coaches we encouraged our kids to run track. I’ve never heard Roy tell a kid not to run track. As for assistants we have a pretty full staff, so not sure where that’s coming from.
