The fighting hobart jv brickies with a nice win over a KV team that some have been pretty high on.

Surprised at Andrean only putting up 28 on munster.

Sounds like Portage gave Merrillville a pretty good fight for most of the night.

Valpo and City with a good battle.

Portage definitely a different team. But to say a fight idk. The first quarter and mid 2nd was a dog fight.

But after that merrillville defense dominated. Portage in 2nd half only had 67 yards of offense. Merrillville WRs dropped some wide open passes in 2nd half that could of made the score a little more spread out. But I think merrillville finally choose a QB. But the biggest thing in this game…. Combined 19 unsportsmanlike penalties for both teams.. it was physical better the game even started. But portage definitely is on the right way. But should only win 1 more game. (Laporte)
It was more like 3 or so on the portage side. Please stop lying.

What is the most weeks in a row a team has went without scoring? Munster is at 4 and have been outscored 153-0.

Surely that ends this week....right?!?

In another weird stat, In River Forests 3 wins this year they have all been by the exact same score of 35-0

Lake Station started the 2000 season scoreless until week 8. Hard to find any other examples of a streak that long.

Munster better score this week and beat ECC. If they don't, they're staring down the barrel of their second winless season in the last 5 years.

19 unsportsmanlike penalties is an absurd number. What was happening on the field for that many flags to be thrown?
According to film. Looks like kids were just pushing and shoving after whistle. Starters with portage early in game. Then merrillville started doing it back. Nothing that rises to the level of a fight or anything. Just a lot of unnecessary trash talking and shoving after whistle. No one was ejected from game from what I have seen:

Watching the game there was minimum 8 both ways. You can see it on the film. Portage started it all in the warmups. Trying to intimidate it looks like. Merrillville responded. It was a good game. But both teams missed capitalizing on a few scoring chances score seems to be right with the spread

Agree. Are we sure no one was ejected? If yes, they miss this week’s game correct?

I watched a little of the Hobart game, their RB #6 was impressive. Ran hard.
That's Max Pickett. He's also not the starter -- Shearer has been out all year. Tonight they split carries as Shearer works through an injury.

Wow, 25 points all season.
