Hanover technically with a half game lead since they don't have any conference games left to play.

But with Hobart playing Highland and Andrean playing Lowell in the final week, it should end in a three way tie.

Sources reporting 61-55 would be incorrect, was 61-58. It was 55-55 heading to double OT; Morton held Hobart to a field goal and then scored a touchdown on their first play in double OT.

Credit to Hobart for fighting back -- they were down 34-19 early in the third quarter -- but the Brickies couldn't stop Morton, and particularly couldn't stop Dashawn Woods who had close to 400 yards from scrimmage when rushing and receiving yards are combined. Hobart found some non-traditional ways to score -- 74 yard kick return TD on a squib kick, pick six on a screen pass, and a safety where Morton threw a backwards pass. Morton is a bad matchup for Hobart -- biggest area where Hobart struggles is defending speed and Morton has that. Hobart did have a chance to put it away late in the fourth -- had Morton on a fourth and 12 near midfield that would have ended the game but let the quarterback get out of the pocket and get the first down.
