Shoot, if they can get him, they'd better grab him with both hands. The guy can flat out coach. He took Morton from next to dead to four straight sectional titles and a game away from state one of those years. Did a great job at East Chicago too. He'd be a perfect fit at Portage, and he'd get them back in the upper half of the DAC before too long.

Not only to Coach Radke head to Knox, he also got IFCA Hall of Fame Coach Hank Orkis to turn in his Bluejay colors for Redskin colors as well. Of course Teddy White and Julio are on board too.
Knox will be a tough out in Sectional 25 in the fall.

Back in February Russ wanted a new challenge and wanted to coach in DAC so he took the Portage job.
