Week 2 - Valpo @ Brother Rice
I like this matchup more than I like Merrillville vs Loyola
True, Valpo might only lose by 28

 That's if it gets "ugly." With it being Brother Rice's week 1 and Valpo's week 2 (after playing Penn) it COULD be closer than people may think. I'm sure most thought Providence Catholic would THROTTLE LC when they played in 2022 and 2023, but those were both 1 score games. I don't think my logic applies to Merrillville/ Loyola, call me hypocrite if you'd like but I see Valpo/ Brother Rice as like a 13.5 point spread and Merrillville/ Loyola more like a 26.5 point spread. Lol

Rensselaer will be adding John Glenn week 3 next year

Our 2026 schedule is coming together real real nice !!

We were let out of the Hoosier Conference a year early from by laws, (the best thing for the Conference)

Exciting

Exciting stuff Coach! Look forward to the Bombers and Falcons matching up as well as the Bombers and Ingots. I know you guys have KV week 1, hopefully no more Castro could help the Bombers cause. I know I'm looking for the same where I'm at.

Update: per merrillville staff. Loyola is only a 1 year agreement. As Merrillville has an instate opponent lined up after next season.

It would be fun to see conferences schedule other conferences similar to the old Big Ten vs ACC challenge in basketball. Just not sure what conferences would be good match ups for each other, the first thing that comes to mind is DAC vs NCC but I think the DAC would have a slight edge.

1. Merrillville vs Andrean - Merrillville
2. Crown Point vs Hanover Central - Crown Point
3. Lake Central vs KV - KV
4. LaPorte vs Lowell - Lowell
5. Michigan City vs Munster - Michigan City
6. Portage vs Highland - Portage
7. Valpo vs Hobart - Hobart
