Hobart won in OT, but the truth is that Hobart really did outplay Andrean. The 59ers had a lot of things go their way -- 59ers punt hit a Hobart up back and the Niners recovered, Hobart had an errand snap that ended up as a 59ers TD. 59ers had over half of their offense on two plays.

Andrean simply can't run the ball.

Oh contrary my friend on outplaying Andrean. Andrean had two possessions in 1st quarter in Red Zone no points. Hobart did nothing in 1st quarter. Andrean had 2 more possessions starting in Hobart side of 50 one of the at 30…no points.

Agree on running the ball. They don’t have a RB now. #1 is awful. It’s also hard to run with your Wisconsin recruit OL out, #1 RB out, and # 2 WR out. Munster victory was a very costly one for Andrean. Hobart shut Finley down all night. He was really a non factor entire game.

Andrean’s defense played well but could not finish both halves of game. They let Hobart drive 80 yards to tie it at end of regulation and gave up a 90 yard drive to end 1st half. Key plays screen pass for 78 yards in 3rd and 15 at the 10. Terrible defense there.

Overall, entertaining game from a fan perspective. Two years in a row where Andrean can’t finish game with defense. Up 10 with 6 minutes to go last year and lost. This year up 7 with 5:30 to go and lost.

Hobart most definitely outplayed Andrean on the night.

Hobart should have been up by 2 scores at the half. Their WR had a TD right in front of him and had a brain fart and stepped out of bounds.

Hobart was the more physical team. Andrean could not stop the run and they could not run the ball at all.

14 and 6 are physical tough runners. And the Hobart QB has a decent arm and makes pretty good decisions.

Do you recall the drop by Finley for a 60 yard td. He was behind Hobart db’s and drops it in his hands??

I watched the game that Hobart physically dominated in the run game.

If Hobarts DBs are so bad then how was Finley not dominating this game? Sure he dropped a TD pass. But if they are so bad then Andrean should have won the game just on his ability.

Hobart won this game on the lines and the run game.

Schrieber is doing a good job with this Hobart team. And the future is bright for them. I am excited to see it.

I was watching the game where Andrean had under 30 yards on the ground and didn’t score until the last play of the third quarter. You also must have missed the fact that the pass in question was tipped by the beaten DB.

I was watching the game where Andrean had under 30 yards on the ground and didn’t score until the last play of the third quarter. You also must have missed the fact that the pass in question was tipped by the beaten DB.

Funny how the ‘not good secondary’ had three picks and Andrean went over 24 minutes from late first quarter to the end of the third quarter without a first down.
