DAC WEEK 6 POWER RANKINGS AND PREVIEW/PREDICTION

Post by DACfanatic »

DAC POWER RANKINGS

1. Crown point
2. Valparasio
3. Merrillville
4. Lake central
5. Michigan city
6. Chesterton
7. Portage
8. Laporte

Previews:

Laporte @ merrillville: Laporte has had a rough go of it since week 1 after defeating new prarie. They just can’t seem to get anything going and their defense hasn’t been up for the challenge either. They will face a threat in the merrillville pirates. Merrillville comes in at 4-1 and their defense is finally back together. Just ask Michigan city last week 😅 the pirate defense held them to a 0 that’s what we call a shut out. But the pirate offense still hasn’t gotten anything going since week 3. It’s been 2 weeks since this highly explosive offense has scored a TD. This game should have plenty for the pirates. Merrillvile runs through this game and has backups in around half time.

Merrillville wins 35-0

Chesterton @ portage: the Trojans are coming off a 14 point loss to Valpo where nothing was working for either team! And the portage Indians come in off a 30+ point loss to crown point. This is a tale of who doesn’t make mistakes. Chesterton seems to have owned this matchup for a little while now. So I’m gonna go with Chesterton to win by a score of 28-10

Michigan city @ lake central: this is the battle for 4th place in the DAC! Michigan city comes off of a game we’re there offense was shut down.. and lake central comes off of a game where there offense found there stride. This will come down to whose defense is better. I’m gonna take Michigan city’s defense in this one in a tight battle

City 27-24

Game of the week:

Valpo @ crown point:

This is a battle for 1st place in the DAC. Valpo comes off a 14 point win over Chesterton. While crown point comes off a huge win over portage. Both teams have been rolling for a while now. This game is on bulldog turf. Valpo likes to run the ball to set up the pass. While crown point likes to pass to set up the run. Two contrasting styles. But I’m not gonna waste any time. Crown point has looked good on All sides of the ball. While Valpo has some weaknesses in their pass game. Crown point will make Valpo one dimensional and force them to pass the ball. And crown point will do the same. Crown point will obliterate Valpo through the air especially after Valpo game up 400+ yards to Michigan city in the air.

Crow point locks up duneland title by a score of 50-14
