NCC thoughts & questions after Week 3!!
Plenty of conferences in the region, and the NCC is one of the big ones. We’ve gotten plenty of DAC talk and those teams are looking great, especially the Bulldogs!
However, I want to hear everyone’s thoughts and start up a little talk about how the NCC is looking. KV has had an amazing start with their senior running back, Hanover is looking to compete like last year, and the Andrean defense has been stunning for the most part.
Make big replies, or make some short ones; either way, let’s have some NCC thoughts.

what school does your son play for so we know which team to pick on?
I would say until proven otherwise it is Hanovers conference to win

Naaah, no son to pick on. Though I do have a sweet spot for Hobart of course.BallinFreak wrote: ↑Mon Sep 09, 2024 1:35 amwhat school does your son play for so we know which team to pick on?

Though I do agree it is Hanover’s conference to win, or loose. But from what I hear they lost a chunk of their OL after last year. However, it’s football, you never know who might come out on top.
All I know for sure is that Munster and Highland are fighting to not be last.

Not so fast on anointing HC the title! As I posted in earlier thread, I originally had HC, Andrean and KV. After games Friday, KV drops out after beating from Andrean. The score was not indicative of the dominance by Andrean. So after Week 1 in conference, I think it’s between HC and Andrean but never count Lowell and Hobart out. The way I’m thinking about it is:
Top tier: HC and Andrean
Mid tier: Hobart, Lowell, KV
Bottom tier: Munster, Highland

Hanover still looks like a conference winning team. Their new QB has his ups and downs, but overall pretty good. Even after a tough lost to Chatard, having a dominant win over Highland and keeping them to 0 points is pretty good, even if Highland isn't that great of a team. Going back to the Chatard game, they started off pretty slow with a pick 6 but as the game went on they slowly got better, sucks it got cancelled otherwise we'd get a better understanding of the full picture. I don't see anyone for the rest of the season beating them for now.NCCthoughts wrote: ↑Sun Sep 08, 2024 11:24 pmPlenty of conferences in the region, and the NCC is one of the big ones. Andrean are the big sleepers of the conference. Take a loss to a tough Merrillville team and fumble a 21 point lead to Valpo, but come out way on top over KV. Which was an upset, noting KV has looked very impressive against Rensselaer and Wheeler, especially that RB. I think Andrean will come out on top of this week's game easily, but a real test for the conference is Hobart and KV's game this week. Really who comes out on top of that will determine major standings in my opinion.
Munster hasn't scored a single point in 3 weeks. I get it they play a DAC team week one, but then proceeding to not even get a single point against Griffith (who is 100% a better team then most people are thinking, but still not a good look for Munster) and also no points against Hobart, an important conference game. As I read before, it's really just a competition between Munster and Highland on who won't get last.

Andrean and Hanover is your title game. With Hanover having to much. Hanover wins that game by 17+
I think Hanover central is more of a DAC team than Laporte/city/lake central
Just feel they could compete and maybe finishe tol 4 every year. They would give Valpo a some trouble

Isn't Chatard in the southern half of the bracket?

I believe you are correct. There isn’t any Indy in 4A north.. I think there hardest matchup looks to he Mishawaka at this moment
